Finwrite 2014 – Friday, 27 June 2014
If you’ve made it to Wits Journalism’s FinWrite in the past, you’ll know it is a day out of the normal working environment where you get to interact up close with experts on business and media. We restrict numbers to just 30, so please be sure to sign up soon to secure your place.
Topics to be covered this year include the economy, the platinum industry, labour after Marikana, energy, competition policy, corporate social responsibility and the African business story.
Our speakers include Renee Bonochoris (Bloomberg), Lerato Mbele (BBC), Michael Kavanagh (Noah Capital), Trudi Makhaya (Economist and writer), Chris Yelland (Energy analyst) and Johan van den Heever (Reserve Bank).
FinWrite this is held on a Friday June 27, 2014 at Wits Journalism in Braamfontein. There is no charge and lunch is provided downstairs at the Wits Art Museum cafe. We don’t want any no-shows, though, and reserve the right to charge R500 to those who sign up and then don’t attend.
Please send confirmations to Jo-Anne: Jo-Anne.Petersen@wits.ac.za.
