A successful candidate would be responsible for the development and growth of audience and online community for a portfolio of websites. They would consult with the content and management teams of these sites to educate them, encourage them and grow their awareness of online and digital opportunities. They would invigorate, motivate and assist management teams as the social media consultant to these sites.

The position reports directly to the Programme Manager and is based at our Centurion head office.

Key Performance Areas Include: Ensure that Jacaranda 94.2 meets the highest broadcast standards for our listeners; prepare and present traffic and update the traffic ‘Twitter’ feed for each traffic update.

Jacaranda 94.2 has a highly exciting and challenging opportunity for you! We are searching for a Producer in our Programming Department.

The position reports directly to the Head of Production and is based at our Centurion head office.

Key Performance Areas Include: To produce daily radio shows; develop and create on-air and online content for the radio show; check music and commercial logs before going to air; draw up the daily running order (preparation) for the show; check the show’s e-mail, sms, station website and social media sites for listener feedback daily; populate and produce the daily show and station features, events and promotions for the show; coordinate multimedia elements to ensure that they are live on the website and / or social media sites; produce daily content and promotional promos for the show and schedule them.

The position reports directly to the Programme Manager and is based at our Centurion head office.

Key Performance Areas Include: Develop, produce, implement and report on all on-air and online content. You will be managing daily station content; standardising production department operations, audio and video play-out software and implementing programming and new media strategy across all programming shows and platforms; manage and lead subordinate in the production department.
