The person we need is a skilled senior writer who is able to write articles that are well-researched and referenced with studies from international journals, but written in a style that’s accessible and engaging. You will liaise with our advisory board of local and international medical experts. You must be able to rewrite technical contributions by writers into something inspiring and interesting for the consumer, without losing the scientific accuracy of the content. Ideally, you should have more than 8 years of investigative or features writing experience and have worked either as an assistant editor, features editor or news editor of a magazine. As an editor and proofreader, you will need to have an eye for detail, a quick grasp of house style, tone and manner, and you should understand the publishing process.
